Yogalaya has crafted a Wellness, Yoga & Adventure Retreat just for you.

Every day, there will be three nourishing, satvik meals, yoga practices with many different branches in the morning and the evening, kirtan, meditation and exploring Rishikesh.

There will be heart connected talks on what wellness is and tools to step into it.

We’ll have some sacred ceremonies such as dance, cacao ceremony, and heart to heart authentic communicating.

There will be numerous day trips to the beaches, waterfalls, water rafting, caves, temples, nightly arti ceremonies and many awe inspiring places.

As we explore and visit these places, we will take our yoga on the go, as yoga is a moment to moment way of living, not just movements on your mat.

Stacey is a 500 RYT certified yoga teacher. Over the last fourteen years, she has spent years in India, studying yoga.

This retreat, is a smaller intimate group, there are 10 spaces available with doublle and single occupancies available.

This includes your one week experience, double occupancy, meals, excursions, and daily yoga.

This Retreat is not just a trip, it’s an investment in your soul searching, and your wellness.

It is an adventure to explore Rishikesh, Yoga, Wellness and Commuinity.

Mushfiq Arts Company Inc 20th Anniversary Celebration Concert at Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans

Mushfiq Arts School of Music and Visual Arts is celebrating 20 years here in Ottawa.

We invite you to celebrate with us at a special showcase concert on, September 28, 2024, at the Shenkman Arts Centre, in Orleans.

This milestone marks two decades of a musical journey, of performing, teaching, and living in the embrace of the arts for Ustad Mushfiq Hashimi.

It has been a path illuminated by the notes of tradition, the colors of creativity, and the collective heartbeat of our community.

Ustad has had the privilege of nurturing the seeds of creativity, of passing on the wisdom of the Patiala Gharana, and of witnessing the blossoming of countless artists.

Mushfiq is honoured to walk this path, guided by the footsteps of legendary Maestro’s, while keeping the flame of tradition burning bright.

This evening will be more than a concert. It will be an expression of an awakened heart.

Art and music are the tools that can bring peace, empathy, and hope back to the world.

You will be mesmerized by an array of soulful music, Classical Dance and guest musicians from India.

Great Maestro, Sri Ashok Dutta from Kolkata, India, will be performing on tabla.

Mushfiq is honoured and excited to be releasing some of his new compositions at this concert.

There will be an art exhibition, showcasing Mushfiq’s Visual Art and Calligraphy Pieces.

He is a Seventh Generation Calligrapher.

Join us, Monday, May 20th, for Kirtan & Veg Potluck Fundraise for Sri Dhara Sri Gudda Self-Realization Centre. Kirtan is from 11-1 and Veg Potluck is from 1-3.

Please join us for a blissful kirtan, in collaboration with Justine Hoang & the OMBuds, and Stacey LA Sinclair, held at the home of our beloved host, Chris Simmonds of Ottawa Meditation.

After the kirtan, we hope that you will stay for a vegetarian/vegan/Gluten-Free potluck and bask in the company of kindred souls. All are welcome!

Cost: By donation at the door ($20 suggested amount) - All are welcome, please bring friends and something yummy to share.

All proceeds will be directed to the fundraising initiative for the restoration of the new Meditation Sahasrara Hall, at Gurumatha Amma’s Sri Dhara Sri Gudda Self-Realization Centre.

Calling all Musicians and music lovers!!

Join us for an uplifting day of devotional music performed by various musicians.

12 Hour Chant-a-Thon, Fundraiser in Ottawa, South.

All proceeds raised will be donated to Gurumatha Amma to aid in the building of a new Meditation Hall at Sri Dhara Sri Gudda, the Self Realization Centre in India.

This Centre has a special place in my heart and is my home as well. I have been studying there for over twelve years.

Let's put our Bhakti Yoga in action and lend a helping hand.

Every 45 mins, there will be a new artist performing devotional music, a day of pure bliss.

This space has been donated to us for this event, a huge, spacious area, just perfect for kirtan.

There will be delicious and nourishing food, snacks and beverages to purchase and a silent auction table.

Bring a blanket, mat or cushion and mostly, bring your voices so that our songs will raise the vibrational energy and touch people globally.

Please PM to inquire about performing, volunteering, donating food/snacks or anything for the silent auction.

Tickets for the 12 Hour Chant-a-Thon is a suggested $20 donation or donate what you are called to. This is a fundraiser, if you can give more, all is greatly appreciated. All are welcome.

Video recordings for artist's performances, are also available for a $50 donation. This is a fundraising incentive and is great for artists as well, to promote their art form.

Join Stacey L.A. Sinclair for a pop up yoga flow class that is good for all levels. Rising Sun will play his Handpans and create a melodic ambiance for us all. We will close with a short meditation at the end. Please bring your yoga mat and anything else you need for your practice.

Suggested fee is $15 for early bird and $20 at the door.
